Hours of Operation

Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(Emergency services available after hours)

Open Access is closed in observance of all major holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Parking and Transportation

A dedicated FREE parking lot with reserved handicap spaces for patients and visitors is located in the rear of the medical building. An overflow lot is located across the street on the southeast corner of NW 2nd Avenue and NW 164th Street.

NOTE: If you elect to receive mild sedation during your procedure, Florida law prohibits you from driving a vehicle for 12 hours following a procedure. As such, you will need to make transportation arrangements prior to your arrival at Open Access.

Privacy and Medical Records

We respect the privacy of our patients. Family members who choose to accompany patients must remain in the waiting area. While patients may consent to the presence of up to one additional family member during both the pre-operative and post-operative examinations, no family members are allowed to accompany a patient into the surgical area at any time.

Medical records are private and confidential and are only released with the written permission of the patient, in accordance and compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and guidelines.

Accreditation and Licensure

Open Access is a Florida AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) licensed health care clinic. We are also hold a Florida AHCA registration for office-based surgeries along with CLIA/COLA laboratory licensure and accreditation.

Open Access Vascular Access is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

Many states now require accreditation for office-based surgical procedures. Our center is proud to be accredited by The AAAHC. This accreditation is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting high healthcare performance standards.
